**Pengertian:**

Recount text adalah jenis teks yang bertujuan untuk menceritakan kembali peristiwa atau pengalaman yang telah terjadi di masa lampau. Teks ini biasanya ditulis secara kronologis berdasarkan urutan kejadian.

**Tujuan:**

Tujuan utama recount text adalah memberikan informasi atau berbagi pengalaman pribadi atau peristiwa yang dialami oleh penulis, dengan tujuan menghibur atau memberi pengetahuan kepada pembaca.

**Language Features (Ciri-ciri Bahasa):**

1. Menggunakan past tense (misalnya, *went*, *was*, *visited*).

2. Menggunakan action verbs (kata kerja tindakan) seperti *played*, *watched*, *visited*.

3. Menggunakan conjunctions (kata hubung) atau time connectives seperti *then*, *after that*, *next*, *later*.

4. Menggunakan adverbs (kata keterangan) untuk menjelaskan waktu dan tempat, misalnya *yesterday*, *last week*, *at the beach*.

5. Terkadang menggunakan personal pronouns (misalnya *I*, *we*, *my friends*).

**Generic Structure (Struktur Umum):**
